TOMONARI Co., Ltd. (HQ: Hoki-cho, Saihaku-gun, Tottori Prefecture) is scheduled to release the 'Met PRO' (Model: TN-HSW-B1), a wearable heatstroke alert device designed for work environments, in late June 2026.

With the long-term increase in extreme heat days, heatstroke prevention has become critical in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and agriculture. The revised Labor Safety and Health Regulations, effective June 1, 2025, mandate safety frameworks for work in environments where WBGT reaches 28°C or higher. Traditional environment-wide monitoring often fails to account for individual risks based on work intensity, physical condition, and age.

The 'Met PRO' addresses these challenges with the following features:

- WBGT Approximation: Calculates and displays WBGT values with accuracy close to black-bulb meters using temperature, humidity, and ambient light sensors. - 4-Tier Risk Visualization: Monitors heart rate and surface temperature alongside WBGT to categorize risk into four levels: Caution, Warning, Severe Warning, and Danger. - Facilitating Rest Actions: Notifies the wearer via buzzer, vibration, and screen display. Each level corresponds to specific actions such as hydration or ceasing work. - Rechargeable Design: Based on workplace feedback, the device uses a rechargeable battery for easier daily operation compared to disposable alternatives.

TOMONARI leverages its expertise in measurement technology for black-bulb meters and CO2 monitors to support safety management that balances environmental and individual monitoring.
