Rusutsu Resort (Rusutsu Village, Abuta District, Hokkaido) will host the inaugural 'Rusutsu Golcon' event on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Rusutsu Resort Golf 72 Wood Course—an event designed to create new connections and enjoyable interactions through golf.

This event is a social gathering for single men and women aged 20 to 39, combining golf play with a networking party. It provides opportunities to meet potential partners or friends who share a common interest in golf, through natural communication during the round and dedicated party time.

In addition to addressing industry challenges such as declining golf participation and lack of younger players, this event aims to create new opportunities for social connections and broadly promote the appeal of golf.

What is Rusutsu Golcon?

Golcon = Golf + Kon (short for 'gōkon' or dating mixer)

Rusutsu Golcon is a new-style social event that combines 'golf play,' 'networking party,' and 'dating mixer.' Golf naturally encourages conversation, making it easy for participants to bond even if they’ve just met. Group Arrangement

For the first half, mixed-gender groups will be randomly assigned by the organizing office.

For the second half, participants will switch genders with adjacent groups.

(Example: Group 1 swaps with Group 2, Group 3 swaps with Group 4)

Rental Information

Participants in Golcon can rent golf clubs and golf shoes free of charge.

Important Notes

• Due to participant numbers, the gender ratio may not be perfectly balanced. Please understand in advance.

• To maintain gender balance, cancellations after registration are strongly discouraged. Final confirmation of attendance will be sent via email approximately three days before the event.

• Alcohol will be served during the party. Guests who plan to drive are strictly prohibited from drinking.

• Beginners are welcome to participate without hesitation.

• The event will proceed in rain. However, it may be canceled if the organizers determine that safety cannot be ensured due to severe weather.

• Photos and videos taken during the event may be used for future PR and promotional activities.

• Participants engaging in disruptive behavior or actions contrary to the event’s purpose may be asked to leave at the organizers’ discretion.
