The Labor Standards Investigation Union, which operates the resignation agent service "Retirement Agent Roki," conducted a questionnaire survey targeting 100 individuals who had previously used Retirement Agent Roki to investigate how their careers changed after using the service. This release publishes the results of all 20 questions in the survey.

In recent years, while resignation agents have become widely known, there are also many statements that stir up anxiety among users, such as "companies are cautious about hiring users of resignation agents."
However, many of these statements are based on the company's perspective. For example, a survey article by Tokyo Shoko Research reported that "26% of companies responded that they would not hire if they found out that the applicant had used a resignation agent in their previous job."
Source: Tokyo Shoko Research "About 30% of companies do not respond to contact from 'resignation agents'; 30% experienced notifications such as paid leave and negotiation of resignation dates."
However, the actual situation of how individuals who actually used resignation agents have progressed in their careers has been largely unknown until now. Therefore, our union has clarified the real data from the user's perspective by directly asking users about their "post-use career," "changes in annual income/working conditions," "treatment in interviews and by others," and "intention to recommend to others."
The results of this survey revealed the reality of users who, contrary to the negative prejudice of "irresponsible quitters" held by some companies, regained their physical and mental health thanks to resignation agents and moved forward positively in their next careers. We will deliver true data that will encourage those who are considering using a resignation agent.

These findings indicate a significant gap between the perspective and image of employers, who are "cautious about hiring" and view it as "disadvantageous for re-employment," and the actual career paths of individuals who have used resignation agents. Resignation agents are becoming an important means for workers who have reached their physical and mental limits to safely leave their workplaces and move to better environments.
As this survey shows, resignation agents are not the end of a career, but a positive restart towards a better life. For those who are thinking "I want to quit but can't do it myself," using a resignation agent is an effective option, and you should not blame yourself or bear the burden alone.
We are not mere message carriers like private resignation agent services. We can negotiate with companies, which private resignation agent services cannot do. Furthermore, Retirement Agent Roki has strengths that other labor unions and private resignation agents do not.
If a company seeks damages or disciplinary dismissal due to a sudden resignation through a resignation agent, our union's affiliated lawyers will handle the matter with the company at no additional cost. Our support system to protect users is comprehensive.
We, the Labor Standards Investigation Union, which operates "Retirement Agent Roki," will continue to support workers in exercising their right to resign, protected by the Labor Standards Act, and regaining their own lives.
