Reservations Now Open for Nanporo Distribution Park

Nanporo Town (Mayor: Teiji Osaki), which has ranked first in Hokkaido for the increase in its Japanese population for three consecutive years and among the top five municipalities nationwide in terms of the rate of population growth, is now accepting reservations for the Nanporo Distribution Park.

The town is a scenic agricultural area located approximately 25km from the center of Sapporo, 40km from New Chitose Airport and Ishikari Bay New Port, and 50km from Tomakomai Port. Its advantageous location adjacent to a major city has fueled sales of industrial and residential zones, attracting new residents.

As recognized in demographic surveys by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Nanporo has achieved the highest Japanese population increase in Hokkaido for three years in a row.

With the ongoing development of the 'Central Hokkaido Connecting Road,' a high-standard highway linking Chitose City and Otaru City, and the opening of the 'Nanporo Ramp' in March 2025, the town expects increased traffic convenience and a more efficient logistics network.

In response to this, the town is developing the 'Nanporo Distribution Park,' a quasi-industrial zone located just 700 meters from the Nanporo Ramp, with plans to begin sales in October 2026. The park offers large lots that are difficult to secure in major cities, and reservations are now being accepted.

Furthermore, to promote business attraction, job creation, and industrial development, the town has implemented the 'Business Attraction Incentive Program' starting in April 2026, which provides incentives to intermediaries who provide effective information or engage in negotiation for companies wishing to locate in the park.
