The opening ceremony will be held as follows on the opening day, Saturday, July 4, 2026. Popular YouTube creator group "Lazy Lie Crazy" will be invited as guests to celebrate the grand opening of Shirahama Beach's new summer season with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Wakayama's traditional "mochi-hori" (rice cake digging).
