[Okinawa-based] European Science Cosmetics Begin Sales at Salons Nationwide

Bunjo Koji Facial Academy (operated by International Facialist Association, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture) has entered into a distribution agreement with "Geek&Gorgeous in Japan," the sole importer of the Hungarian skincare brand "Geek&Gorgeous," on April 4, 2026. Starting July 7, 2026, we will begin wholesale sales to aesthetic salons nationwide and offer professional educational programs.

Why This Brand?

The agreement was initiated by a message from a senior colleague from my previous job at a major aesthetic salon.

"We are looking for an instructor who can provide cosmetic education to professional estheticians nationwide. I have someone to introduce."

Initially, I thought I would be involved only sporadically as an instructor. However, after actually using the products for about a month, my impression changed significantly.

Not only did I personally experience changes in my skin, but I also strongly resonated with the product design and brand philosophy.

Furthermore, my own experience in product development and branding for cosmetics at a major aesthetic company, and the cosmetic theories I had built, aligned with many of their ideas, which was a deciding factor.

"It felt as if the cosmetics I had always dreamed of had appeared right before my eyes."

I can say that meeting this brand was both natural and inevitable.

Reason for Distribution Agreement

At first, I considered introducing the products as one of the salons that would carry them. However, through repeated discussions with Geek&Gorgeous in Japan, they shared their desire to expand the brand throughout Japan, while also facing the challenge of not having a large-scale sales system.

Therefore, I wanted to leverage my experience and network in facial education nationwide to take on the role of correctly conveying the brand's value along with education, and I requested the distribution agreement.

In the future, in addition to wholesale sales to aesthetic salons nationwide, we will also disseminate product knowledge and correct skincare concepts through workshops, seminars, and collaboration with educational programs.
