Osaka City Announces Second Application Period for 'Osaka City Premium Voucher 2026'

Osaka City is implementing the 'Osaka City Premium Voucher 2026' program to alleviate household financial burdens and stimulate the local economy. The city now announces that the second application period will begin on Friday, July 17, Reiwa 8 (2026).

Individuals who missed the first application period or were selected for only one to three vouchers during the first round are encouraged to apply this time.

1. Second Application Details

(1) Eligible Applicants

Applicants must reside within Osaka City at the time of application and meet at least one of the following criteria:

① Individuals who did not apply during the first application period (April 22 (Wed) to May 17 (Sun), Reiwa 8)

② Individuals who were selected for one to three vouchers during the first application

(Note) The maximum number of applications per person, combining both first and second rounds, is four.

(Note) In the event of high demand, allocation may be adjusted through a lottery prioritizing applicants with higher requested quantities.

(2) Application Methods

Online applications via the official website are recommended.

For those without internet access, applications via a dedicated postcard are also available. The postcard (attached to the application flyer) will be distributed from July 17, Reiwa 8 (Fri), at all FamilyMart stores in Osaka City and through newspaper inserts.

(3) Application Support

From July 17 (Fri), Reiwa 8 to August 10 (Mon), Reiwa 8, application support desks will be set up at cooperating locations across Osaka City for individuals who are unfamiliar with online applications or need assistance. Staff will provide in-person support and guidance on using the regionPAY app required for voucher redemption.

July 17 (Fri), Reiwa 8 to August 10 (Mon), Reiwa 8

(Note) For postcard applications, the postmark date of August 10, Reiwa 8 (Mon) will be valid.

(5) Notification of Selected Applicants

Applicants selected in the second round will be notified by email or mail starting around Tuesday, September 8, Reiwa 8.

(6) Voucher Purchase Period

Selected applicants may purchase vouchers from the date of notification until Thursday, November 5, Reiwa 8.

(7) Voucher Purchase Methods

The purchase method depends on the type of notification received:

① Recipients of physical winning notification cards: Vouchers can be purchased at any FamilyMart nationwide (excluding office-based and station-located stores without multi-copy machines)

② Recipients of email notifications (web applicants only): Online payment (convenience store payment agency also available)

(8) Voucher Usage Period

Vouchers can be used from the date of purchase until Friday, January 15, Reiwa 9 (2027).
