Urawa Gakuin Junior and Senior High School (Genki Kyosei Gakuen) held the 'First Special Lecture' on June 2, 2026 (Tue) to commemorate the inauguration of EXILE's Toshio Matsumoto as a special advisor, as a secret event for students. At this event, the launch of the 'STAND UP DREAMS PROJECT,' a one-year special class project to learn about dreams, was announced in partnership between Urawa Gakuin and LDH JAPAN. Currently, it is said that low self-esteem and a sense of hopelessness about the future are significantly affecting the background of Japanese children who cannot have dreams. According to a survey, only about 60% of children under 18 in Japan answered that they 'have a future dream,' and this percentage decreases with age; as of now, one in five junior high school students answers that they 'cannot have a dream.' In response to these social issues, Urawa Gakuin, which aims to realize an 'open school with dreams and hope,' and LDH, which bears 'Dream' in its company name and continues to believe in the possibilities of dreams under 'Circle of Dreams,' resonated deeply. The two have built a solid relationship of trust and track record through joint projects with 'EXPG,' an entertainment school operated by LDH. This time, we have deepened and developed that powerful partnership, and in order to nurture the 'dreams' of children themselves over the medium to long term, not just technical guidance, we have launched this project.
