Finalists Selected for "Ms.&Mr.KEIO Contest 2026" in its 21st Year.

― 21 Years Since Inception. A University Contest Where Challenges Lead to the Future ―

Student organization cytron (Citron), building on its experience running the "Mr.KEIO Contest" since 2006, took a new step forward in 2025 as the "Ms.&Mr.KEIO Contest." This year, marking the 21st anniversary of its founding, we are pleased to announce the "Ms.&Mr.KEIO Contest 2026" and the selection of this year's 12 finalists.

A Contest Emphasizing "Humanity"

This contest evaluates contestants based on five criteria: "Appearance," "Sincerity," "Culture," "Sense," and "Visionary." It aims to comprehensively assess "personal charm" as a whole, including values, personality, and future potential, not just physical appearance.

While many student contests are increasingly influenced by factors like popular vote or the amount of support money raised through live streaming, this contest values the contestants' ability to convey their thoughts in their own words and their commitment to growth through challenges.

Our goal is to hold a contest that shines a light on "humanity," which cannot be measured by superficial popularity or numbers.

Challenges Beyond the Contest

This contest is not solely about deciding the grand prize winner. We consider it a vital mission to provide a springboard for contestants to pursue new dreams and goals, using their contest experience as fuel.

Previously, Junsei Kaneyasu, the 2024 runner-up, and Takuto Kumabe, the 2025 Mr.KEIO Grand Prix winner, participated in the audition program "PRODUCE 101 Shinseikai" after the contest.

Additionally, Shion O, a 2025 Ms.KEIO finalist, is currently pursuing a solo entertainment career after her activities with the Philippines-based idol group "MNL48."

In this way, the contest serves as a catalyst for individuals to challenge themselves in new fields and expand their scope of activities. We expect this year's finalists to also achieve success in various areas, drawing on their experiences from this contest.

And now, the 12 finalists for the "Ms.&Mr.KEIO Contest 2026," who will embark on this new journey, have been decided.

We introduce this year's finalists, who will spend approximately six months honing their individual personalities and strengths.
