Izakaya 1484, a Japanese restaurant in Omiya Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, will offer a special course with all-you-can-drink options, featuring over 10 types of sake including Saitama's representative popular local sake "Hanayubi" (Hana-abi), from July 8, 2026, for a limited time. The price is 8,000 yen (tax included).

This campaign will end once the stock of "Hanayubi" runs out.

In recent years, sake has been gaining attention as a culture to be enjoyed along with the stories of breweries and regions, and the demand for tasting local sake unique to a travel destination is also increasing.

We are implementing this campaign with the aim of providing an opportunity for both Saitama residents and tourists and business travelers visiting Omiya to easily enjoy Saitama's proud sake culture.

Offers an all-you-can-drink course featuring the hard-to-get Saitama local sake "Hanayubi"

Proposing a new sake experience: "Enjoying local sake in the local area"

In this special course, we offer all-you-can-drink options for over 10 types of sake carefully selected by the owner himself, including the popular brand "Hanayubi" brewed by a brewery in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture.

"Hanayubi" is highly popular among sake fans nationwide for its gorgeous aroma and juicy taste. However, due to limited production volume, it is known as a rare brand with low distribution, and its availability in restaurants is also limited.

As a summer-limited campaign, we are creating an opportunity for more people to learn about the charm of Saitama's local sake by including "Hanayubi" in our all-you-can-drink offerings.

This campaign will end once the stock of "Hanayubi" runs out, and may conclude even during the period if the planned quantity is reached.

A chef who once gave up on opening his own restaurant during the pandemic, but didn't give up, realizes "casual authentic Japanese cuisine" in Omiya.

The owner, Manabu Ishibashi, graduated from a culinary vocational school and trained exclusively in Japanese cuisine for over 20 years at small eateries, kappo restaurants, and kaiseki restaurants.

Although he was on the verge of independence, he abandoned his plans due to the impact of the spread of COVID-19. He then moved his base from Tokyo to Saitama due to his mother's care, and opened "Izakaya 1484" in April 2024 with the desire to "one day have his own restaurant."

The restaurant name "1484" is a number that embodies the desire to cherish the connections with customers.

With the idea of making Japanese cuisine, which is often perceived as "expensive" and "exclusive," more accessible, he aims to create a restaurant where customers can casually enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine.

Fresh fish directly from Toyosu, dashi stock made in-house, seasonal tempura. Pairing with authentic Japanese cuisine is also a highlight.

For the food, we use fresh fish sourced from Toyosu Market, prepare it in-house, and prioritize serving it "fresh" with minimal use of frozen ingredients.

During evening hours, we carefully prepare dashi stock in-house every day without relying on chemical seasonings.

Additionally, tempura, which has been highly praised since his training days, is one of the popular menu items, allowing customers to enjoy the freshly fried taste of seasonal ingredients.

A highlight of this course is the pairing of such authentic Japanese cuisine with Saitama's local sake.

Owner Manabu Ishibashi's Comment

While there is highly acclaimed local sake from Saitama nationwide, there are still not many places where you can easily compare and drink them within the prefecture. I would be happy if this could be an opportunity for both local residents and visitors from outside the prefecture to learn that "Saitama has such delicious sake."
