Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. is expanding its 'Reco Series,' a management system utilizing unique 2D communication RFID technology, centered on its mobile IC tag reader, 'Recohand.' To address diverse on-site needs, the company has developed three new dedicated attachments in addition to the initial 'GLOVE' type.

Key Features of the Attachments: By simply swapping the attachment housing the Recohand reader, users can adapt to various usage scenarios. Since the SDK (Software Development Kit) is standardized, it eliminates the need for separate app development for each scenario and enables integration with existing systems.

Three Dedicated Attachments: - BEAM Type: 168mm wide, covers a range of approximately 1 meter. Installed near box inlets, it automatically records objects as they pass through. - MAT Type: 340mm wide, limits reading to items placed on the mat. It automatically records negotiation histories and is highly portable. - PEN Type: 134mm long, limits reading to a narrow range around the pen tip. It enables accurate unit-level serial management for small, high-value products such as medical supplies and cosmetics.

Future Outlook: Sales will begin globally in fiscal year 2026, with a focus on North American and European markets. The company targets 500 million yen in annual sales for the entire Recohand series by fiscal year 2030.
