Tokushima Prefecture is located on the eastern side of Shikoku. It is a prefecture full of charms unique to Tokushima, such as the rich 'nature' created by a warm climate and one of the highest numbers of sunshine hours in Japan, the 'food' that benefits from it, and various 'cultures' such as Awa Odori and Ningyo Joruri (puppet theater). In this culturally rich environment, a special exhibition titled '100th Anniversary of Fumiaki Fukita's Birth: A Century of Printmaking Drama' will be held to honor the legacy of the master artist born in this prefecture.
