Tokushima Kaiyo Open Water Swim 2026 to be Held on October 25th (Sun)!

The Kaiyo Town Shishikui area, located at the southernmost tip of Tokushima Prefecture and the venue for the "Tokushima Kaiyo Open Water Swim," is an area where many people gather for various marine sports. It boasts a complex coastline resembling "a lion's bite," small islands, numerous unique rock formations, colorful tropical fish and coral, large Pacific waves, and calm inlets.

This location offers unparalleled appeal for open water swimming. The 2.1km class race will be held within the bay, designated as Takegashima Underwater Park, ensuring peace of mind for beginners. You can also enjoy underwater observation.

The 3.7km class course is designed to navigate through the Pacific waves and between scattered islands. We encourage you to challenge yourself through this race in the seas of Kaiyo Town!

*Open water swimming refers to swimming races in natural bodies of water such as oceans, rivers, and lakes.

Participation Fee

1 & 2: ¥5,500, 3 & 4: ¥8,000 (Includes insurance, meal, and participation gift)

An additional ¥600 is required for those who wish to receive the tournament program by mail.

Eligibility

Individuals who train regularly. No age limit.

Approximately 150 participants in total (limited by parking capacity).
