Summer-Only Event: Savor Beer Inside a Registered Tangible Cultural Property Tunnel – 'Forest Beer Hall' at the Aiki Tunnel Group

The Kasugai City Tourism Convention Association will host the 'Forest Beer Hall' from Saturday, August 1, 2026, to Sunday, August 30, 2026, on weekends and public holidays only, at the registered tangible cultural property 'Aiki Tunnel Group'. This event offers the only opportunity to enter the tunnel, aside from the special spring and autumn viewings.

The event features chilled draft beer and canned chuhai, as well as specialty gourmet items such as the fragrant 'Chiran Chicken Black Grilling'. Additionally, experiential activities like 'Pizza Making Experience,' where visitors can bake pizzas using an authentic pizza oven, will be available for families and friends to enjoy together.

On Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (a public holiday), a music event featuring young tenor saxophonist TAIYO FUWA will be held. The historic tunnel's structure itself transforms into a 'natural speaker,' resonating rich, deep sounds and delivering an acoustic experience available nowhere else.

Venue: Around Tunnel No. 3 of the Aiki Tunnel Group (Tamano-cho, Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture)

Access: Approximately 10-minute walk from JR Chuo Line's Jokoji Station

Admission: Food and drink ticket system – 1,000 yen per booklet (10 x 100-yen tickets)

Note: Visitors aged junior high school and above must purchase 1,000 yen worth of tickets upon entry (cash only).

Two tickets (200 yen) will be collected as an admission fee.

Tickets can be purchased at the on-site reception on the day.

Additional tickets can be purchased at reception if needed.

- This is a pre-reservation-only event. Reservations are accepted online only. Unreserved visitors will not be admitted.

- During this event, only the first tunnel (Tunnel No. 3, 76m) from the entrance gate will be open.

Through access to all tunnels is not permitted (please enjoy during the spring and autumn special viewings).

- This is a self-service event. Please dispose of all garbage in the provided bins when leaving.
