Kodomo no Machi Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nihon Kodomo Holdings, has implemented Money Forward Cloud Attendance Plus, provided by Money Forward, Inc., across all its facilities starting July 1, 2026 (Wed), and has begun smartphone-based attendance management operations.

The theme of this initiative is "Strengthening Attendance Management for Nursery School Teachers." It allows for accurate calculation of overtime hours down to the minute and will fundamentally improve the working styles of nursery school staff by simplifying application procedures.

Background - The "Invisible Overtime" Problem in the Nursery School Industry -

Long working hours and dissatisfaction with wages are consistently cited as top reasons for nursery school teachers leaving their jobs. The underlying structural issue is that "overtime hours are not accurately managed."

With traditional paper-based or time card systems, overtime is often rounded to 15- or 30-minute increments, meaning that unpaid overtime is not uncommon.

At our company, nursery school teachers work in environments away from the administrative office, making it difficult to clock in and out using a computer. To solve this challenge, we decided to implement a smartphone-based attendance management system.
