Nippon Rad Develops 'PEV' Engine to Secure SDV Apps Against Unauthorized Execution

Nippon Rad Inc. has developed 'Pre Execute Verification (PEV),' a high-speed engine designed to verify the integrity of applications and libraries before execution in SDV, industrial, and IoT devices. While Secure Boot protects the startup process, PEV secures the application layer post-OS boot, addressing risks from OTA updates and external connections. Compliant with UN R155 and EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) standards, PEV supports Linux/Android (Kernel 5.13+) and is currently available as a free evaluation version for contracted customers.
