Following the 'Fukiagehama Field Hotel' in Ichikikushikino City, Kagoshima Prefecture, this second outdoor resort proposes a new way to spend holidays, combining hot springs, dining, and stays within the magnificent nature embraced by the Aso Caldera.

A Field-Type Outdoor Resort Spreading Across the Aso Caldera Minami Aso is one of Kyushu's premier natural resort destinations, blessed with world-class caldera topography and abundant subterranean waters flowing from the outer rim. It boasts the majestic peaks of the five mountains of Aso, clear spring water, and grasslands that change their expression with the seasons.

The 'Minami Aso Field Hotel' is located on the same grounds as the day-trip hot spring 'Konoka-yu', which underwent a renewal opening in March 2026, realizing an environment where hot spring facilities and an outdoor resort are integrated.

Over the 10 years since the Kumamoto earthquakes in 2016, this land has been making strides toward recovery. We have proceeded with creating an accommodation themed around 'quiet time and the extraordinary, prepared by nature and human hands.'

The trailer houses include a double-connected luxury room with a private hot spring where you can relax comfortably, and a casual room for easy lounging. The dome tents feature an open design that lets you become one with Aso's starry sky, bringing you much closer to nature.

2. Authentic Italian and Free-Style BBQ by a Chef Enamored with Minami Aso's Ingredients For dining, you can choose from two styles: authentic Italian cuisine prepared by Chef Satoshi Suzuki, who fell in love with Minami Aso's ingredients and focuses on Italian dishes, and a private BBQ enjoyed in your room. Bringing your favorite ingredients and drinks is also welcome, allowing for a highly flexible stay.

3. Enjoy the Day-Trip Hot Spring 'Konoka-yu' as Many Times as You Like Guests can use 'Konoka-yu' (Spring quality: Sodium-Sulfate Hot Spring / Hypotonic, Neutral, High-Temperature Spring) located on the same premises as many times as they wish during their stay.
