Dawn Stage Vol.1 'BAD END' Main Visual Released
The newly launched theater project 'Dawn Stage' will present its inaugural production, Dawn Stage Vol.1 'BAD END,' from Friday, August 28, 2026, to Tuesday, September 1, at Atelier Fanfare Koenji in Tokyo.
The play is an immersive noir comedy in which a robbery gang, having successfully raided an armored truck, descends into paranoia over the disappearance of 40 million yen inside an abandoned warehouse hideout.
The play is written and directed by Yoshikatsu Kimura, known for the film 'KG Karate Girl' and the TV series 'Garo: The Divine Flame.'
The cast features a diverse ensemble including Obara Miyoko, former male-role performer of the Takarazuka Revue's Snow Troupe; Shuri, an active wrestler from the Stardom women's wrestling promotion; adult film actress Ayano Kato; Ue Shoko, former member of 'Kamen Joshi'; filmmaker and actress Mari Na; Nara Rena, famous from the TikTok series 'The Girl from Aomori'; and Kodama Taichi, former Men's Non-no exclusive model and musician, making his stage debut in a reunion with Kimura since 'Garo: The Divine Flame.'
The production features a unique stage layout where the audience surrounds the performance space, offering an 'immersive experience' that allows viewers to feel the characters' tension, betrayals, and even their breathing from an extremely close distance.
General ticket sales begin on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 8:00 PM via Koricchi.
The 'Premium Front Seats with Benefits,' offering an ultra-close theatrical experience, are limited to just 17 seats per performance.

Cast Comments
Obara Miyoko (as Sugar)
My first encounter with Director Kimura was five years ago. I learned so much from him about acting and expression.
I'm thrilled to reunite with him and take on the lead role of Sugar, but I also feel a sense of fear—am I ready to expose my emotions completely? It feels like a test of my growth as an actor.
Rather than being tested by others, I will spend this summer living wholeheartedly, searching for my own 'HAPPY END.'
Please look forward to the stage production 'BAD END'!
Shuri (as Flower)
How do you see me?
Because I've been a professional wrestler, people might think I'm very disciplined.
But in truth, I'm actually quite emotionally sensitive.
That's exactly why I love acting.
Flower is a former police officer—she appears cool, but carries loneliness and inner conflict, living with a sense of emptiness in her life.
I will pour my own emotions into her struggles and pain, carefully building each moment to deliver a performance that leaves a lasting impression.
I'd be delighted if you could experience it live at the theater.
Ayano Kato (as Money)
I've been cast as the character Money.
As the name suggests, my passion for money is insane—literally! (laughs)
I'll be showing you a completely new, high-energy Ayano Kato!
I'll reveal this now: there's a twist to the Money character that's different from the key visual.
I'm actually terrified by it.
But I'm also excited about this new challenge.
Please come to the theater and discover it for yourself.
I'll do my best to deliver tension, moments of breath, and many immersive experiences for all of you—thank you in advance!
Ue Shoko (as Water)
I'm Ue Shoko, playing Miss Water.
The story unfolds in a way that makes me feel like the entire theater is the stage!
I hope you can experience this unique atmosphere, different from ordinary theater, when you come to the venue.
Through working on this production, I feel I might encounter emotions within myself that I haven't yet realized.
I want to push my emotional gauge to the limit and surpass my own boundaries.
I'll deliver the worst yet greatest 'BAD END' to all of you who come to see it.
Please come witness the ending with your own eyes.
I'll be waiting for you at the theater!
Mari Na (as Darkstar)
I kept wondering, 'What kind of story is a "noir comedy"?'
As I read the script, I encountered complex characters on every page.
The character I play, Darkstar, is like a jester freely running through this world.
As a free, pure, and bold woman, I want to deliver the full charm of this work—not only the betrayals within the story, but also pleasantly subvert your expectations.
Please come to the theater and dive into the world of 'BAD END'!
Nara Rena (as Seven)
I play Seven, Money's younger sister.
She's full of mysteries and riddles.
The more I empathize with the script, the more painful it becomes—a story where everyone's desires intertwine.
Though I don't know what's right, I believe each person was acting with their own sense of justice… I hope you'll enjoy analyzing and discussing it.
Everyone, you're definitely going to be betrayed many times.
My first role in a black suit is super cool and a major highlight!
I'll be waiting for you at the theater!
Kodama Taichi (as Bank)
My first stage performance.
And the title is 'BAD END'—what irony.
I'm trembling for many reasons.
I'm truly happy to be working with my mentor, Yoshikatsu Kimura, once again.
