Goto Islands] 100-Year-Old Wagashi Shop 'Hatanaka': 'From Products to Experiences'

Okashitsukasa Hatanaka is a long-established confectionery shop that has been in business for over 100 years in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture. While cherishing sweet-making rooted in the local community, we develop products that utilize Goto's ingredients and culture. Furthermore, beyond just manufacturing and selling sweets, we are working to create places for local people to gather, such as operating banquets and cafes. In recent years, under the theme of 'from products to experiences', we have been developing projects to convey the charm of Goto. Starting with sweets, we are broadly promoting the value of the region from multiple perspectives.
