Tokyo Monorail Signs Friendship Agreement with Taipei Metro and Taoyuan Metro

Tokyo Monorail Co., Ltd. signed a friendship and cooperation agreement with Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (Taipei Metro) and Taoyuan Rapid Transit Corporation (Taoyuan Metro) on June 1, 2026. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between transport operators. Moving forward, the companies will promote information exchange and tourism marketing in their respective areas to increase tourism traffic. They also aim to contribute to the development of both businesses through exchanges in various fields. Taipei Metro operates five lines in Taipei, while Taoyuan Metro serves as a vital link between the city and Taipei, centered on the Airport Line.
