JKK Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Housing Supply Corporation) is hosting a '30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival' at its senior housing facility, 'Asumi Life Minami-Osawa,' to express gratitude to residents, their families, and the local community, while showcasing the facility's appeal. The festival is an interactive event featuring stalls from local businesses. JKK has been providing secure housing for the elderly since the facility opened in 1996. While the facility previously fostered community ties through events like summer festivals, these were interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This 30th-anniversary event aims to reconnect with the community and revitalize the area. The festival runs from June 21 to June 27, 2026. Highlights include the 'Asumi Market' with street performances on June 21, a walking class by Duke Saraie on June 23, and a premium concert by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra on June 27. Admission is free, though the walking class requires advance reservation.
