Shinjuku Takashimaya Restaurants Park Hosts 'Fukushima Peach Menu Fair' from July 22 to August 4

Fukushima Prefecture, known as the 'Fruit Kingdom,' produces peaches that are best enjoyed from July to September. The main production areas, such as Fukushima City and Date City, feature a basin climate characterized by hot, intense summer sunlight, which helps create peaches rich in natural sweetness. The peaches are grown without bags, allowing them to absorb ample sunlight, resulting in vibrant colors and enhanced flavor. Before shipment, every peach is tested for sugar content using optical sensors.
