CS Broadcasting's "Satellite Theater" will feature a special program titled "Deficient Films ~Miraculously Surviving Films Revived~", broadcasting three works with partially missing film negatives due to damage or other reasons for the first time on TV in April. These are phantom films that once graced the screen but were given up on as "never to be seen again" due to reasons like war damage or film deterioration. Their fragments have been miraculously discovered and revived. We will deliver "Shuchu Nikki" (The second oldest existing Shochiku film), "Asataro Akagi no Uta" (featuring Tokurin Taro's hit song "Akagi no Komoriuta" as the theme song, showcasing the essence of Matatabi stories), and "Seiki wa Warau: Digital Restoration Edition" (a supreme entertainment drama by the master Masahiro Makino, discovered in Russia). Please enjoy these three precious works!
