CS channel 'Eigeki' will host a three-month 'Death Note The Musical' feature, broadcasting the musical consecutively starting in May 2026. The 2015 version will air in May, the 2017 version in June, and the 2025 version in July.

Based on the hit manga 'DEATH NOTE,' the musical was brought to life on stage with music by world-renowned composer Frank Wildhorn and directed by Tamiya Kuriyama. The series includes the 2015 and 2017 versions, featuring Kenji Urai and Hayato Kakizawa as the protagonist Light Yagami in a double-cast role, as well as the 2025 version featuring Seishiro Kato and Ao Watanabe in the double-cast role of Light. The 2025 version, commemorating 10 years since the premiere, will have its television debut. This production drew significant attention as original cast members Kenji Urai played the Shinigami Ryuk and Megumi Hamada played the Shinigami Rem.
