This collaboration aims to contribute to the advancement of academia and the formation of vibrant local communities by merging Oshin Dream Co., Ltd.'s expertise in drones (unmanned aerial vehicles) with the cutting-edge data analysis methods possessed by the Graduate School of Social Data Science at Hitotsubashi University. Specifically, this partnership focuses on "developing practical educational programs that include the utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles" and "advancing international educational and exchange programs," thereby strongly promoting the development of highly skilled practical professionals and their social implementation.

Oshin Dream Co., Ltd. and the Graduate School of Social Data Science at Hitotsubashi University began collaborating in 2023 with the opening of the Oshin Drone School Tokyo campus, focusing on the importance of drones in data acquisition. Over the past three years, approximately 40 students and faculty members have obtained national qualifications through intensive training camps for national certifications. Subsequently, they have achieved steady results, such as presenting research outcomes using drones at the Hitotsubashi Festival. In addition to the expanding research applications accompanying advancements in drone technology, we have also promoted student exchange through international networks, aiming to cultivate next-generation leaders who possess a combination of data science, practical skills, and international perspective, leading to the signing of this agreement.

The two institutions have already collaborated through the international joint program "GCSC (Global College Startup Camp)" where students from Japan and South Korea tackle social issues, as well as through the "Oshima Drone Camp," which has been ongoing for three years. This camp is aimed at students from the Faculty of Social Data Science and the Faculty of Commerce, who study the integration of business and computer science through the "Data Design Program (DDP)" selective program. Since the opening of the school in 2023, we have held intensive training camps for drone national qualifications with the faculty and students of the graduate school, and over 40 students and faculty members have obtained their qualifications. Oshin Drone School is a registered training institution providing courses aimed at obtaining drone national qualifications (unmanned aerial vehicle pilot). Oshin Dream Successfully Completed the Operation of Hitotsubashi University's Japan-Korea Joint Entrepreneurship Program "GCSC 2026"

As part of this collaboration, Oshin Dream Co., Ltd. was responsible for the operational aspects of the "Global College Startup Camp (GCSC) 2026," jointly organized by the Faculty of Social Data Science at Hitotsubashi University and Gachon University in South Korea. This program is an intensive entrepreneurship development camp where a total of 80 selected university students from Japan and South Korea form mixed teams and develop business plans over three nights and four days from February 8-11, 2026. The students transcended language and cultural barriers to co-create data-driven, sustainable solutions for pressing contemporary social issues.

Through the operation of this event, Oshin Dream supports the development of highly skilled human resources across borders and the social implementation of social data science.
