Meet and Touch Popular Beetles and Stag Beetles from Around the World!
Inside a giant insect enclosure large enough for people to enter, visitors can observe up close and actually touch world-famous beetles and stag beetles such as the Hercules beetle, Atlas beetle, Rainbow stag beetle, and Giraffa Rhinoceros Beetle. This is a rare and valuable summer experience that is hard to come by in everyday life.
※Experience duration: approx. 10 minutes
※Re-entry is allowed on the same day upon presentation of a half-ticket stub from the admission ticket.
Learn About SDGs Through Exhibits
We will introduce the world’s only initiative by TOMUSHI Co., Ltd. — 'the mechanism by which beetles decompose waste' — and display SDGs panels to educate visitors about global environmental issues. This is also recommended for children’s summer vacation independent research projects.
Additionally, decorations in the interactive experience area utilize repurposed oak wood from trees cut down in Saitama Prefecture, contributing to the effective use of underutilized resources. (Cooperation: Midoriya Tree Doctor Office, Inc.)
