Chugin Financial Group (Okayama City; President: Sadanori Kato) announced that it has conducted information disclosure based on the final recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD*).

Since much of economic activity depends on natural capital, initiatives toward "Nature Positive," which stops and reverses nature loss, are becoming increasingly important.

The group has positioned the "promotion of environmental management" and "revitalization of the regional economy and society" as key management issues. We are actively working on environmental issues such as biodiversity and decarbonization, aiming to achieve compatibility between the environment and the economy.

Through this disclosure, we will deepen our understanding of the relationship between the natural environment and the economy, advance initiatives based on identified risks and opportunities, and contribute to building trust with stakeholders and revitalizing the regional economy.

Overview of Disclosure:

- Formulation of Transition Plans Formulated a transition plan toward a nature-positive society.

- Identification of Metrics in Key Sectors Conducted value chain analysis in the "Construction & Engineering" and "Real Estate Management & Development" sectors, which were identified in FY2025, to determine key metrics.

- Examination of Solutions Examined financial and non-financial solution proposals to support the transition to nature-positive for the aforementioned sectors.

- Examination of Metric Expansion Presented proposals for metrics for future expansion based on analysis results.
