ANA Holdings and i-net have begun considering the joint development and provision of a basic skills training program for satellite manufacturing and inspection businesses, applying aircraft maintenance training methodologies and aligning with Level 1 of the Space Skill Standards.

The initiative combines the safety culture and aircraft maintenance training know-how developed by ANA Group's maintenance department with the satellite development expertise of i-net to foster technical talent for the space industry.

The project aims to develop a highly effective program by utilizing instructors with extensive experience in the aerospace industry and integrating supply chain networks and sales functions.

As the demand for artificial satellite manufacturing grows, establishing a supply and training system for manufacturing and inspection personnel has become a pressing issue. In response to the Cabinet Office's Space Skill Standards, both companies will develop this training program.

The program is scheduled to begin sales in early 2027 and is planned to be conducted at ANA Group's training facilities in Ota Ward, Tokyo, through a combination of classroom instruction and practical training.
