While acquiring young talent is crucial for the agriculture, livestock, and food sectors facing challenges such as a shortage of workers and succession issues, opportunities to compare specific job details, working environments, and the appeal and potential of various companies at the field level, or to understand the industry as a whole, are limited. Agrimedia Inc., which operates the job site "Agri Navi" that aggregates information from agricultural companies nationwide, will host "Agri Navi Career FES." as a venue to match leading companies in the industry with students and young people interested in agriculture and food.

Promoting Multifaceted Industry Understanding Through Company Booths + Talk Sessions

Approximately 40 agricultural companies from across the country, including farms, livestock businesses, and agricultural-related companies, are scheduled to exhibit at this event, providing company explanations at their respective booths.

Participants, targeting young individuals such as students and second-year graduates interested in agriculture and food, can understand various positions from upstream to downstream in agriculture, gather information on each company's business content, appeal, working styles, and summer internship opportunities through company explanations and dialogue with company representatives.

In addition to company booths, talk sessions will also be held. Scheduled speakers include "Rikyu Hoen" (Rice Farmer in Yamagata Prefecture), "JR East Toyosato Sosei Co., Ltd.," and "Vivid Garden Inc." Through the stories of individuals active in different capacities – such as farmers, large corporations involved in agriculture, and startups supporting agriculture – participants will be provided with a venue to deepen their understanding of agriculture from multiple perspectives.
