"Lonely," written specifically for this production, is a City Pop-style love song that gives courage to take a step forward. It will vividly color the "heart-fluttering" office love story produced by BS TV Tokyo, known for its popular romance dramas.

We depicted the protagonist's changing heart and feelings for him against the backdrop of everyday scenes. We want listeners to feel the courage to move forward, believing in "a future with him," while being pushed by his actions and feelings, and experiencing their own doubts and struggles.

The original work by Pekki Aoi was released as an e-comic in 2022 and garnered attention for its "heart-fluttering" romance between the two characters. This popular work is now being adapted into a long-awaited live-action drama. It is an office love story featuring Ayame Hanazawa, a woman who is somewhat hesitant about romance because she can read people's minds through their scents, and Midori Miyajima, her expressionless and cool colleague who suffers from mysophobia and cannot read Ayame's mind.

Yui Karen plays Ayame Hanazawa, one of the lead roles, and Taiya Fujibayashi plays Midori Miyajima, the other lead. Additionally, Yui Oguri from AKB48 plays Kanako Himemiya, Ayame and Miyajima's junior who harbors feelings for Miyajima; Kyo Tenwakyu plays Takuya Hashimoto, Ayame's ex-boyfriend from her school days who becomes the reason for her hesitation in romance; and Shuuhei Handa plays Jin Nukui, Ayame and Miyajima's boss, who is timid but caring, further enriching the drama.
