INNOCENTIVE Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Representative: Shintaro Tsujii), which operates the residential location-based co-working space "GARAGE MACHIDA," has surpassed a total of 5,000 users (cumulative user numbers for the Sakaigawa and Minami-Oya branches from the opening of the Sakaigawa branch in August 2025 to June 30, 2026). To commemorate this milestone, we will be implementing a limited-time campaign aimed at further contributing to the local community. Approximately 90% of the 5,000 users are local residents living within their residential areas, utilizing the space for telework and study. We propose a new form of co-working for the new era, offering a comfortable space with ample parking, even on rainy days, fostering connections with cutting-edge AI utilization and casual relationships among local residents.

1. Growth as a "Third Place" Based in Residential Areas

"GARAGE MACHIDA" was established in Machida Minami-Oya in February 2022 as a "residential location-based" co-working space that does not assume commuting to the city center. Since the opening of the Sakaigawa branch in August 2025, the total number of users for both the Sakaigawa and Minami-Oya branches has surpassed 5,000. Notably, approximately 95% of users are from the nearby residential areas.

This is driven by the fusion of functionality as a workspace supporting diverse individual activities such as remote work, freelancing, side jobs, and qualification studies, and the strong need for a secure place other than home (a third place).

2. New Era Community: Cutting-Edge Technology and "Casual Connections"

This facility goes beyond simply providing space; it functions as a hub that expands local community activities outward, using the facility as an entry point. Stemming from encounters within the facility, activities have spread to include the operation of "Night Cafes," the hosting of "AI Seminars by External Lecturers," and even external projects like "Farm Activities," connecting people and extending activities beyond the facility. This high degree of local integration demonstrates that residential location-based co-working is the core of local communities in the coming era and an infrastructure of extreme necessity.

Fostering Local Community Through Events

We focus not only on renting out space but also on creating a community where users can naturally connect. Monthly "Night Cafes," farm activities called "Chokofarm" where local residents participate, and an AI utilization seminar held in March of this year, which our members attended. A second session is scheduled for July.
