The Kyushu Innovation WEEK Executive Committee (operated by Innovent Inc.) will host the "Kyushu Disaster Prevention & Risk Management EXPO" on June 3rd (Wed) and 4th (Thu), 2026, at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A, as part of "Kyushu Innovation WEEK."
This specialized exhibition targets local governments, corporations, educational institutions, and infrastructure operators, bringing together the latest products, services, and technologies for disaster prevention, mitigation, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP). Against the backdrop of increasing natural disaster risks nationwide—including earthquakes, heavy rain, typhoons, and extreme heat—there is a growing demand for both daily preparedness and rapid recovery response. The expo will provide an opportunity to compare diverse solutions such as disaster stockpiles, emergency power sources, disaster-tech ICT, safety confirmation systems, disaster-response drones, heatstroke prevention, and security systems.
Targeting executives and disaster management personnel from private companies as well as government officials from police, fire, and infrastructure departments, the event serves as a business platform to promote disaster countermeasures in the Kyushu region. Products and services addressing on-site challenges across fields like rescue equipment, BCP, and ICT will be featured.
Special interactive sections include: - Outdoor Display Corner: Showcasing large-scale equipment used during disasters. - Earthquake Simulation Corner: Featuring an earthquake simulation vehicle inside the venue to teach proper response techniques.
Keynote speeches, seminars, and workshops will also be held, covering practical topics like heavy rain workshop, human resource development, heatstroke countermeasures in the workplace, disaster prevention from a female perspective, and tabletop disaster exercises.
