To commemorate the publication of the first book by philosopher Hichul Chu, 'Living Together in a Scattered World' (original Japanese title: 'バラバラな世界で共に生きる'), an exhibition collecting practices of 'living together' in daily life will be held at the 'Denki-yu' Sento. The event will run from Sunday, June 7, to Friday, July 3, 2026.

[Background of the Exhibition] 'Denki-yu,' operated by Eight Company, has supported regional life and culture for 100 years since its founding in 1922. Sento bathhouses, which maintain community ties through the private act of bathing, are being re-evaluated today as 'third places.' This exhibition is an attempt to re-experience the 'etiquette of coexistence,' which is being forgotten, through the practical setting of a bathhouse.

[Exhibition Content] In this exhibition, excerpts from the book are arranged in various areas of the bathhouse, such as the changing room, the bathing area, and the waiting room. As visitors move through the space, they encounter words that appear naturally, allowing them to overlap these words with the presence of others and the atmosphere of the space.

- Part 1: 'Understanding Our Scattered Selves' (Changing Room) - Part 2: 'Facing the Scattered World' (Bathing Area) - Part 3: 'Living Together While Scattered' (Seeking techniques to go out into the city)

Additionally, an original art exhibition by philosopher Hichul Chu will be held simultaneously at the affiliated bookstore, 'kamos.'
