Elan Corporation (Head Office: Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, President & CEO Tomohiro Minesaki), whose mission is to turn "troubles in the healthcare field into smiles," gave a lecture as an external instructor at Daito Bunka University on July 2, 2026 (Thu).
This lecture was an initiative aimed at helping the next generation, who will be responsible for the future of medical care and nursing care, learn about the "customer's perspective" through our company's business.
On the day, we introduced our "CS Set" service, shared the story behind the original patient gown "lifte," which we developed with the desire to protect the quality of life and dignity of patients during hospitalization, and discussed the future of medical care and nursing care that Elan aims for.
In addition to explanations using projected materials, the lecture included the following programs to engage students:

l Viewing of interview videos We projected actual interview videos with users to show the value of the CS Set for patients and their families, allowing students to watch. By hearing real voices from the field, they deepened their understanding of the social significance of the service.
l Lifte Touch & Try We provided students with time to actually hold the independently developed lifte, allowing them to experience its material and design with all five senses. By actually touching it, not just through verbal explanations, it became a time to feel our commitment to the customer's perspective more deeply.
l Q&A At the end of the lecture, various questions were received from the students, and it was a meaningful time as many students showed deep interest in the future prospects of the "CS Set" and "lifte."
