Yukinori Kawa-e (Kawa-e Yukinori)
Born in 1972 in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from the American University in Cairo (Egyptology), completed doctoral program at Nagoya University Graduate School of Letters (History). Former researcher at Ancient Egypt Research Associates, Inc. (AERA), currently Professor at Nagoya University's Center for Integrated Research in Digital Humanities and Social Sciences. Specializes in Egyptology and Egyptian archaeology. Leading 3D measurement surveys of pyramids using advanced technology, including the Giza pyramids and the oldest step pyramid. Regular media appearances on TBS's 'World Mystery Discovery!' and NHK Special. Also active on YouTube channel 'Yukinori Kawa-e's Ancient Egypt'. Publications include 'Pyramids: Solving the Mysteries of Ancient Ruins with Modern Science' (Shinchosha Bunko), and 'Mystery of Civilizations: An Ancient Egypt Textbook' (Supervised, Natsume Publishing).
