Quintia, Inc. will be responsible for network and technical support at the 'NHK Student Robot Contest 2026 - ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest Representative Selection' to be held at the Ota City General Gymnasium on June 14, 2026.
The NHK Student Robot Contest is one of Japan's largest robot competitions, involving university and technical college students from across the country. The 2026 theme, 'Kung Fu Quest,' involves high-level missions where two robots work in coordination to complete tasks. As a technical partner supporting the event, Quintia will design and build the indoor network environment and provide technical support.
Technical Support Content Quintia will implement the following to support event management: - Design and construction of the indoor network environment - Optimization and operational support for the wireless LAN environment - Network monitoring and technical support in the event of failures - Technical support for various event management systems - Technical consulting considering integration with broadcasting and distribution systems
With many visitors, competition teams, and event staff using the network on the day of the competition, stable communication quality and rapid failure response are required. Quintia will utilize its expertise gained from the broadcasting industry and large-scale distribution system development to support event operations from a technical perspective.
