Cross Marketing Inc. conducted a 'Food Survey (2026)' among 3,000 men and women aged 20-69 nationwide. The results revealed that home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner are slowly declining, dropping to 65% and 75% respectively compared to 2022. Additionally, when purchasing food, 45% of consumers check the 'best before/expiration date' on packaging, which is the top response but represents a significant 14-point drop from 2022. This decrease is likely influenced by the 2025 guideline revisions aimed at extending expiration dates to reduce food loss.
