Sincerite Sapporo Co., Ltd. (Sapporo, Hokkaido; President: Yoko Yamamoto) has introduced 'RE:SPICE,' a spice blend that challenges conventional culinary norms.

Moving away from the assumption that 'cooking requires salt and strong stimuli,' the product uses only 12 carefully selected spices, including cumin, Japanese pepper (sansho), and long pepper (hihatsu). It balances a simple formulation—free from salt, chili peppers, and garlic—with a deep, aromatic profile.

Development was driven by modern dietary concerns regarding excessive sodium intake. While reducing salt is often seen as a struggle against blandness, 'RE:SPICE' focuses on 'maximizing ingredient flavor through aroma.' It avoids chili peppers, garlic, and chemical seasonings.

Three main features: 1. 100% spice-based: Salt content is less than 1/100th that of typical spice blends. 2. Versatility: Suitable for Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines, ranging from sashimi and steaks to fried rice. 3. A unique sensation: Provides a warm, comforting stimulation from long pepper and Japanese pepper instead of the sharpness of chili.

Ingredients: Cumin, coriander, onion, long pepper (hihatsu), fennel, Japanese pepper (sansho), ginger, cinnamon, laurel, nutmeg, star anise, clove.
