JR West Hotel Development Ltd. (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; Eiji Tsubone, President & CEO) has announced that as part of its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and realize a sustainable society, it began accepting reservations for the "CO2 Zero STAY®" accommodation plan at THE OSAKA STATION HOTEL, Autograph Collection (hereafter "Osaka Station Hotel") on Friday, June 12, 2026. What JR West Hotels Can Do Now For The Future As A Hotel Living With The City Global warming, largely driven by increased CO2 emissions, is a critical issue that countries worldwide are addressing with specific reduction targets. Japan aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 46% from 2013 levels by 2030 and achieve full carbon neutrality by 2050. Curbing emissions in the tourism industry is a global imperative for realizing sustainable tourism.

In addition to accommodation plans, JR West Hotels offers "CO2 Zero MICE," replacing banquet electricity with zero-emission renewable energy, demonstrating their multifaceted approach to environmental conservation. Guided by the slogan "What we can do now for the future, as a hotel living with the city," they will continue to provide comfortable stays while creating opportunities to contribute to global environmental protection, building a prosperous future alongside guests.
