JMAS Signs Reseller Agreement with Anthropic

JMA Systems Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Sakakura; hereinafter referred to as JMAS), an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Tier Services Partner, has announced the signing of the 'Anthropic Authorized Reseller Program for Amazon Bedrock' under the AWS resale program with US-based AI company Anthropic, PBC (hereinafter referred to as Anthropic).

Through this agreement, JMAS will officially begin providing the commercial channel for using Anthropic's generative AI model 'Claude in Amazon Bedrock, powered by Anthropic' (hereinafter referred to as Claude), provided on Amazon Bedrock, as well as introduction and utilization support for enterprises.

Background and Objectives

As the movement to utilize generative AI in business rapidly expands among enterprises, there is growing interest in cloud infrastructures that allow for the safe use of generative AI while ensuring security and governance.

In particular, Claude, provided by Anthropic, is a family of large language models equipped with functions necessary for enterprise applications, such as advanced reasoning capabilities, code generation, long-context understanding, and multilingual processing. With its high performance, security standards, and responsible AI design catering to a wide range of use cases, it has attracted the attention of many Japanese companies, and the need to leverage it through Amazon Bedrock is expanding.

To meet these market needs, JMAS has signed this agreement with Anthropic, leveraging the track record and technical expertise in AWS cloud implementation and data utilization that it has cultivated since 2014.
