This summer vacation, children can immerse themselves in drone experiences in Nishiogu. The top-rated drone school in Arakawa Ward is holding three summer events.

Skybrex Inc. (Headquarters: Arakawa Ward, Tokyo) will operate "Skybrex KIDS DRONE Nishiogu School" and host three children's drone events from July 20, 2026, to the end of August. With three grand events, including two courses for the Arakawa Ward-sponsored "Machi Zemi" (materials fee ¥200-¥300) and a "Drone Assembly Class" where participants can take their drone home (¥5,000-¥5,500 per parent-child pair), even first-time participants can experience the fun of drones. Applications for the two Machi Zemi courses will open on Peatix starting July 11 (Sat) (lottery system). This event is a special program preceding the opening of a "weekly accessible" children-only school at the same location in October 2026, with free trial sessions also planned for September.

【Program 3】 For Summer Vacation Homework! Drone Assembly Class A 90-minute program that starts with an explanation of how drones fly, allowing participants to assemble parts with their own hands and then actually fly the completed drone. All assembled drone units, controllers, and batteries can be taken home, making it ideal for summer vacation homework. ・Target Audience: Ages 6 and up (elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian) ・Duration: 90 minutes ・Participation Fee: Parent-Child Pair Ticket ¥5,500 (tax included) *Participants who attend our Machi Zemi courses (Program 1 & 2) can take the Drone Assembly Class for a ¥500 discount, at ¥5,000 (tax included).

Event Schedule & Application

The two Machi Zemi courses will be held multiple times from late July to the end of August, primarily on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Applications will be accepted via the Arakawa Ward Machi Zemi Secretariat (Peatix) starting July 11, 2026 (Sat). Because We Want As Many Children As Possible to Enjoy It

As Machi Zemi courses are popular and well-received each time, they will be held via a lottery system. To allow as many children as possible to experience that "Ah, this is fun!" moment, we have prepared multiple time slots for each day. If you are not selected in the lottery, you can still participate in the year-round "Drone Assembly Class" or individual trial sessions, so please feel free to contact us.

Don't Let the "Fun" of the Event End After One Time

The expression of "Ah, I did it!" that children show at our summer events. To ensure that this "fun" doesn't end after just one time, we will be opening a children-only school in October 2026 that is "accessible every week." The target audience is from 1st grade elementary school to 3rd grade junior high school. We will offer a STEAM education curriculum that teaches automatic flight through programming, aerial photography, and aerodynamics through "play," supervised by "Drone Up" (operating 11 schools in the Kansai region), in small classes of up to 4 students.
