'Outbound' Free Major Update 'Fishing Update' Now Available! Enjoy Fish Collection with 'Fishing'

SEGA Corporation is pleased to announce that the free update "Fishing Update" for the cozy survival game 'Outbound' (アウトバウンド), developed by Square Glade Games for PlayStation®5, Nintendo SwitchTM 2, and Nintendo SwitchTM, has been released.

The "Fishing Update" adds a new activity: the "fishing" system. You can enjoy fishing with your own crafted fishing rod in all ponds, lakes, and seas on the map. Caught fish can be displayed in an aquarium that can be placed in your camper. You can collect all 32 types of fish, which are divided into levels, making in-game exploration even more fulfilling.

In addition to aquariums, further customization options for your camper have been added, with 6 types of stairs and 4 types of doors now craftable.

Future update plans for 'Outbound' are being released as a development roadmap. Elements that will further enrich your survival life, such as the introduction of fishing and the appearance of various wild animals, are planned to be added one after another.
