Zerofield Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SKYER Inc., which researches wildlife management using drone technology, and began a Proof of Concept (PoC) combining AI wildlife detection systems with drone technology on May 13, 2026, at Zerofield's Hokuriku base. This initiative aims to realize a new wide-area, automated wildlife management solution that consistently handles everything from automatic detection of wild animals to tracking and post-deterrence status confirmation. In recent years, crop damage by bears, wild boars, etc., has become serious, and countermeasures amidst labor shortages are urgent. By combining Zerofield's AI analysis technology with SKYER's drone technology, the companies aim for more advanced and effective countermeasures. Moving forward, they will collaborate with local governments to work toward sustainable wildlife management, including operational automation, population tracking, and behavioral analysis.
