Yoh Kamiyama to Release New Single 'Anemone' on May 27!

Yoh Kamiyama has announced the digital release of his new single 'Anemone' on May 27.

'Anemone' is his first new song in about three months since the release of 'Akunin' in February this year. Departing from the thrilling band sound seen in 'Akunin,' the new track combines danceability reminiscent of reggaeton and Latin trap, starting with light percussion, with a hyperpop-style development featuring noise and bit-crush effects.

Both 'Akunin' and 'Anemone' adopt a dark approach that suggests the direction of the album scheduled for release this summer.

Additionally, the artwork for 'Anemone' has been revealed. Created by up-and-coming illustrator Sayaendo, who also handled the work for 'Akunin,' the jacket features an impressive design of kaleidoscopically layered butterflies that evoke the lyrics of the song.
