We are pleased to announce that our 'Disaster Prevention Battery Package' has received the 'Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award' at the JECA FAIR 2026 Product Contest.
This contest recognizes outstanding products exhibited at 'JECA FAIR 2026 (the 74th Electrical Installation Industry Exhibition)' based on criteria such as technical superiority, social contribution, originality, future potential, and marketability.
The Disaster Prevention Battery Package is the first product in Japan to obtain fire safety certification as an emergency power source utilizing a lithium-ion battery designed for both regular and emergency use. During power outages or other emergencies, it supplies electricity to fire protection, disaster prevention, and evacuation systems. In normal operation, it contributes to reducing electricity costs and expanding the use of renewable energy. In this evaluation, its contributions to disaster prevention, disaster mitigation, and decarbonization were highly praised, leading to the award.
This award marks a consecutive recognition for our 'Disaster Prevention Battery Package,' following the 'Prime Minister's Award' it received in April this year at the Japan Resilience Award 2026.
Going forward, we will continue to intensify our efforts in developing products that contribute to solving societal challenges such as national resilience and decarbonization.
