Medical Device Manufacturer Develops Cordless, Exhaust-Less Stick Vacuum 'AiRStream,' Pre-Launching on Makuake May 24

Tsukamoto Corporation will begin pre-sales of its 'AiRStream' cordless, exhaust-less stick vacuum cleaner under its 'AiMY' brand through the crowdfunding service 'Makuake' starting May 24, 2026.

Many people experience sneezing or gritty floors after vacuuming. One cause is dust that isn't fully captured, along with fine particles and house dust kicked up by the vacuum's exhaust. This is a particular concern in households with small children or pets who are closer to the floor.

While the vacuum market has traditionally focused on 'suction power,' AiMY turned its attention to the 'exhaust,' or the air quality, during cleaning. This led to the creation of the exhaust-less vacuum, 'AiRStream.'

The most prominent feature of AiRStream is its patent-pending proprietary circulation structure. It draws in debris from the floorhead, and the clean air, purified by a HEPA filter, is rerouted through an internal path and released back out from the floorhead. This 'AiR Brush' force lifts dust from the floor surface, which is then suctioned up along with the air. The goal was to create an unprecedented vacuum cleaner that considers the air quality during use.

Maintenance has also been simplified. The floorhead is brushless, preventing hair and pet fur from tangling.
