D-NET Renews AWS Managed Service 'Cloud Assist'

D-NET (Representative Director: Kazuo Takahashi; headquarters in Tokyo and Osaka) renewed its AWS (Amazon Web Services) maintenance and operation service on June 3, 2026.

The company has overhauled its pricing model, moving away from billing based on the number of servers to a 'system-unit inclusive pricing' model, where one standard web system configuration serves as one unit. Starting at 130,000 JPY per month (excluding tax) per system, it covers monitoring, incident response, setting changes, and technical consulting. Furthermore, a flexible fee structure has been introduced, allowing for the addition of 'accompanying support'—which handles improvement activities like cost optimization and in-housing support—only when needed.

The renewal addresses common feedback regarding traditional MSPs, such as 'unpredictable budgets,' 'limited scope of support,' and 'lack of partners for improvements.' As an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, D-NET has revised its service to solve these issues.

1. Pricing Overhaul: From 'Server-count based' to 'System-unit inclusive pricing.' Budgets remain predictable regardless of configuration optimizations. 2. Expanded Scope: Moving beyond simple monitoring. Includes 24/7 monitoring/notifications, primary/secondary incident response, setting changes, technical consultation, threat detection, and OS security patching for a fixed fee. 3. New 'Accompanying Support': A mechanism to add services such as improvement proposals, monthly reports, cost/configuration reviews, and in-housing support on an as-needed basis.
