Maxell Brand Launches Two New Plasma Ion Hair Dryers in the 'Angelique' Beauty Series

Overview Denkyosha Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Japan; President: Shunji Yamashita) will launch two new hair dryers under the Maxell brand's 'Angelique' beauty series on June 10, 2026: the MXDR-550A and the MXDR-400A.

Features of the MXDR-550A The MXDR-550A boasts the highest airflow in the Angelique series, delivering 2.6 cubic meters per minute. It uses a double plasma ion generator to suppress static electricity, ensuring hair remains manageable despite the high volume of air. It also includes an 'AUTO mode' that automatically alternates between hot and cold air, reducing heat damage during drying.

Features of the MXDR-400A The MXDR-400A provides a powerful airflow of 2.1 cubic meters per minute and features a 'CARE mode' that gently dries hair with adequate airflow at lower temperatures. Like the 550A, it incorporates plasma ion technology to minimize static electricity and provide a smooth, organized finish.

Design and Usability Both models feature foldable handles for compact storage. The MXDR-550A is available in clean White and sophisticated Dark Gray, while the MXDR-400A is offered in muted-tone Light Gray and Light Pink, designed to match various interior styles and personal preferences.

Specifications MXDR-550A: Airflow 2.6 m³/min, Double Plasma Ion, 1,300W power consumption. MXDR-400A: Airflow 2.1 m³/min, Plasma Ion, 1,200W power consumption. Both models operate on AC 100V (50/60Hz) and include a nozzle and user manual.

Since April 2023, Denkyosha has been manufacturing and selling Maxell-branded consumer products under a license agreement. The release of these new products aims to further expand their lineup and strengthen brand recognition in the home appliance market.
