[Event Report] Food Trading Company Tokan Sponsors and Participates in Charity Event "WFP Walk the World 2026" to Eliminate Child Hunger!

Despite the inclement weather, 35 participating members of Tokan, closing their umbrellas and showing smiles as one, united with guest Mr. Hitoshi Iwase and the venue.

Tokan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Yoshito Nagatsu; hereinafter referred to as Tokan) sponsored and participated in the charity walking event "WFP Walk the World 2026," organized by the Japan Association for the World Food Programme, held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Tsuruma Park in Nagoya.

The Nagoya venue, holding its 5th event, saw a total of 1,183 participants gather, despite the unfavorable rainy weather. Our employees and their families participated in this charity event wearing matching original T-shirts produced for the occasion. Furthermore, Mr. Hitoshi Iwase, former Chunichi Dragons player, appeared as a guest, filling the venue with smiles and cheers.

Our members, with smiles that blew away the rain and a remarkable sense of unity, enjoyed interacting locally and walking at their own pace, sharing their desire for international contribution.
