A survey on finding a real estate agent for selling property in Urbanization Control Areas. Urbanization Control Areas are special properties that are extremely difficult to sell, although taxes are low. When trying to sell, many people struggle with finding information, such as which real estate agents can sell the property and how to find specialized companies through online searches or referrals. In response, Dream Planning Co., Ltd. (Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa / CEO: Mikito Takahashi), which operates the real estate problem-solving site URUHOME, conducted a survey of 353 individuals interested in real estate on 'how to find a real estate agent when selling property in an Urbanization Control Area.' The survey results revealed that the most common method (48.2%) is to search online for 'Urbanization Control Area sale' and call the top-ranking real estate agents. This indicates that keyword searching on the internet is the mainstream method. This was followed by visiting real estate agents near the inherited property (24.1%) and searching for 'Urbanization Control Area purchasing company' online (23.8%). The survey highlights a proactive attitude among sellers to find agents with specialized knowledge and unique networks for such special properties. The article also includes comments from respondents for the top five methods, detailing their reasoning, such as the efficiency of online searches, trust in local agents, the need for specialized purchasing companies, the comfort of face-to-face consultations, and the utility of bulk appraisal sites for comparing offers.
